In recent years, filter-based, Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) products have become the preferred method of increasing bandwidth throughout optical networks. AFOP offers DWDM, systems as core passive elements that direct, manage, and monitor large numbers of optical signal channels. AFOP utilizes proprietary V Collimator, Thin Film Filter technology in the development and manufacture of our DWDM, products. These include 100GHz and 200GHz Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) mux and demux modules.. AFOP offers single channel and custom band filters, including the FWDMs for FTTU applications. All units are available as components or in a variety of modules for rack mount or custom mount designs.
