FINANCE
Accountant - Responsibilities include implementing and/or maintaining one or a combination of general accounting systems. Prepares journal entries, maintains and reconciles ledger accounts. Prepares profit and loss, and balance sheet statement. Prepares monthly Bank reconciliation. Responsible for A/R collection and Cash receipts. Assist in vendor payment processes.
Requirements: B.S. in Accounting or related fields. 2+ years experience in Acccounting which includes AR, AP, Inventory and FA. Technical knowledge and understanding of GAAP. Requires knowledge of ERP system (SBT currently). Requires high level of accuracy and be detail-oriented. Strong Excel skills. Good communications, organizational, and analytical skills. Chinese bilingual is a plus.
SALES & MARKETING
Connectivity Application Engineer - Technical preparation of Catalogs, Data sheets, and Application support materials. Customer specification review and communication with Product Engineers. Responding to daily sales and Customers' technical questions about products. Carrying on product specifications review with customers. Working with Product Managers and Product Engineers to support the design review process for connectivity products.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of industry experience and/or related working experience. MS degree and knowledge of Mechanical Engineering & fiber optics a must. Previous product development, customer service or technical support experience preferred. This position requires someone who can provide solutions that will best meet the customer's needs. The qualified candidate must be a self motivated team player with a positive attiude.
Senior Product Manager - Responsible for developing business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Interfaces with engineering, manufacturing, and sales to develop new products or enhance existing products. Maintains current status of customer requirements for existing and future products. Responsible for directing technical marketing support activities for developing and implementing customer applications and company products. Oversees the publication of technical information on specific applications and technical articles. Coordinates with marketing and other product managers to define and implement new company products. May serve as company liaison on specific and complex technical projects. Requirements: Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evolution of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and resolving problems. Fiber Optics Communications Industry 5 years minimum experience required. BS degree required. MBA preferred.
Associate Product Manager - Responsible for the technical marketing support for the development and implementation of customer applications. Supports marketing organization with customer requirements review and negotiations, application support, product planning and management support. Assists sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specification. Responsible for customer specification reviewing and communication with product engineers to make sure the specs is doable. Working with PM to move customers’ specs into product engineers’ hand. Provides follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific application. Requirements: This position requires someone who can provide solutions that will best meet the customer’s needs. The candidate must be self motivated with a positive attitude, and be a good team player. BS degree and knowledge of engineering, physics and fiber optics a must. Previous product development, customer service or technical support experience preferred. Chinese Language skill and good English required.
Inside Sales, Job Code: AWB002.S - Seeking individual to support specific projects & sales opportunities with customers. Work directly with field account managers and reps supporting new & house accounts. Responsible for account development and maintenance. Must have good communication skills, ability to work as part of a team in a high tech environment. BA required, and 2+ years industry experience required.
Product Engineer - Design and develop DWDM/CWDM/OADM system with wavelength management, different configuration and packaging to meet customer requirement in telecommunication and data storage applications; design and develop filter WDM products for FTTX application to meet next generation high speed broadband and CATV; develop filter WDM, band splitter and tri-wave multiplexer with leading performance to meet customer requirement; design and develop switch and attenuator products to add special control and flexibility to optical network and network measurement equipment.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Physics or Optics and at least one year experience. Must have experience with optical instrument such as optical power meter, optical spectrum analyzer, and optical detector. Must have knowledge of optics setup and measurement as well as knowledge of optical thin film and film deposition.

Senior Fiber Optic Product Development Engineers - Multiple positions available. Responsible for new product developments in PLC/AWG, Optical Channel Monitor, ROADM/WSS, or other high-end opto-electronic modules for next generation fiber optic communication applications.
Provide hands-on technical expertise and program leadership experience for any of the above mentioned new product development areas, including designing architecture and component, their software/firmware systems, coordinating laboratory trials, prototyping, device/system performance and reliability qualifications, leading Asia-bound production transfer efforts.
Advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering or Optical Engineering are preferred, together with at least five years of progressive experience in Fiber Optic component/module industry.
Bilingual with verbal Chinese capability is highly desired and travel to Asia to support and participate in local manufacturing development efforts is expected.
